Synopsis

Can a person, through his profession, distort the balance of a country and its inhabitants? This is the story of Aurora, a sunny and optimistic 30-year-old who runs away from her small town in Apulia to move to Rome and specialise in sexology. Forced to return home because she thinks her mother is dying, she has to deal with the curiosity and distrust of the villagers. Who can be so bold to open a practise for sexual therapies in a place that is full of prejudices where everyone knows everything about everyone? Who can be so optimistic to think that the postman, the newsagent, the baker, people who have never left their town, turn to a sexologist to solve such delicate problems? Nobody. Apart from Aurora, of course.
